Guide

Learn how to use InSplitter for professional audio separation, from upload to download in four simple steps.

QUICK START

Quick Start

A short workflow for clean vocal and stem separation.

STEP 01

Choose a mode

Open the workspace and pick the mode that matches your goal. You can remove vocals, isolate vocals, split full stems, or process supporting audio tasks.

Tip
  • If you are unsure where to begin, vocal remover is the most common starting point.
  • Video files can also be processed with audio modes because the service extracts the audio track automatically.
STEP 02

Upload your file

Drag your audio or video file into the upload area, or click to choose a file from disk. Most common media formats are supported.

Tip
  • Higher-quality source files usually produce better stems. WAV or high-bitrate MP3 works best.
  • Confirm your file format and size before upload to avoid failed jobs.
STEP 03

Wait for AI processing

After upload, the AI engine starts analyzing and separating the track automatically. Processing time depends on duration, complexity, transcoding, and queue load.

Tip
  • Keep the page open while the task is running.
  • The status indicator updates as the job moves through each stage.
STEP 04

Preview and download

When processing completes, preview each separated track and download either individual files or the full bundle.

Tip
  • Results are stored for 24 hours, so download them promptly.
  • Use the built-in player to compare stems before exporting.

BEST PRACTICES

Best Practices

Follow these recommendations for cleaner, more reliable separation.

Use high-quality source files

Lossless files or high-bitrate MP3s usually give the most stable separation.

Avoid heavily compressed audio

Low-bitrate files can introduce artifacts that make stems less clean.

Choose the right mode

Select the mode that fits your goal so the workflow and output match what you need.

Check copyright before use

Make sure you have the right to process and reuse the source material.
